Award Winning Home for Foofighter Bassist

Scrafano and Gus Duffy Architects teamed up to revamp a 1950′s ranch home in the valley.  Renovated for Foofighter/Sunny Day Real Estate bassist Nate Mendel, the home was destined for stardom.   Polished cement floors streamline the interior along with warm wood accents and huge windows to enjoy the views.  Using solar technology and earth friendly materials, the home was recognized with a 2010 AIA award.
